Old Enfield, one of Austin’s most charming and historic neighborhoods, originally formed part of the Pease Plantation until its subdivision in 1910. The area boasts some of Austin’s oldest Colonial-style homes and has been home to numerous successful Austinites, including four Texas governors, two mayors, state and local lawmakers, University of Texas faculty, coaches, staff, and civic leaders.
The tree-covered lots along Pease Park were thoughtfully planned to offer each unique home breathtaking views of the Austin skyline and surrounding green spaces. Additionally, other homes were built around the landmark main house, Woodlawn. Smaller streets to the west feature bungalows from the 1930s and '40s, catering to young families.
